CLASS TITLE: CONCESSION STAND MANAGER   

REPORTS TO:  Principal 

EXEMPT STATUS: Exempt

BASIC FUNCTION:  

The Concession Stand Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the high school concession stand during athletic events and other school activities. The manager ensures that food and supplies are properly stocked, sales and money are handled accurately, and the concession stand operates in a clean, safe, and efficient manner. 

 

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

 

• Ensure all concession operations for football, soccer, baseball, and softball are run through Garrard County High School in full compliance with district policy.
• Oversee the transition to modern payment systems, managing both cash and card

transactions at our various athletic venues.

• Coordinate the set-up and maintenance of concession facilities, including addressing

equipment issues such as the ongoing maintenance needs at our stadium stands.

• Manage the inventory and staffing required to support our "Full Concession" offerings during district tournaments and high-traffic events.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Methods, practices, and procedures of school district record management;
• Operation of manual and computer-assisted record management systems;
• Modern office practices, procedures, and techniques;
• Organization and planning methods, trends, techniques, and practices.

ABILITY TO:

• Read, interpret, and implement technical service manuals for the system.
• Maintain records related to work performed.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. 
• Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action. 
• Work independently with little direction.

• Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking
